Practice Portfolio Builder

Practice building a portfolio with a virtual balance

Choose the topics you want to learn about, pick assets from those topics, and divide a $100,000 virtual balance between them to see what concentration, diversification, volatility and liquidity look like. It uses virtual funds for educational purposes, and nothing is bought.

CryptoBipto is a crypto education platform. It does not buy, sell, hold or send cryptocurrency for anyone, and it does not give financial advice.

Overview

01

You answer questions about what you want to learn

The learning questions ask how familiar you are with crypto concepts, which topics you want to understand, which concepts you want to practice, how detailed the explanations should be, and how long an exercise should take. Every practice portfolio starts from the same $100,000 virtual balance, so there is no question about it. They do not ask about your finances, and no answer is scored. Each question explains what it means.

How it works

02

The builder lists assets for your topics

Each topic lists the assets tagged with it, in alphabetical order by name, with the reason each one is listed. Listing an asset is for exploration. It does not establish that the asset is suitable for anyone. You can switch topics on and off as you build.

What is included

03

You choose the percentages yourself

You choose the assets and give each one a percentage of the virtual balance, starting from 0%. The builder describes what your choices illustrate, including concentration, diversification, exposure to topics, volatility and liquidity, and how weights you choose differ from equal weights. It does not rate the result. A saved portfolio is labeled an Educational Practice Portfolio.
